Dreams
We began to go over Chapter 5, where we covered Consciousness. We learned of the four stages of sleep and learned that we only remember our dreams when we are in Stage 1 entering REM (Rapid Eye Movement) stages. Of course, students began to discuss the dreams they remembered.

Shakespeare
We began our journey into the World of Shakespeare. We read the Tragedy of Macbeth. Macbeth was a man who had a selfish ambition to seek out what was told he was going to become. His wife helped him with planning the assassination of King Duncan , which made him heir to the throne after Duncan’s sons ran away in fear. He became King and soon his life became enthralled in self that even the death of his wife did not move him. We learned that when something is said about what we are to become, allow God to bring it to pass in His own timing.

Absolute Threshold
Throughout Chapter 4, we covered Sensation & Perception. We discussed one very interesting part of sensation called Absolute Threshold. Absolute Threshold is the weakest stimulus. An example is if you are in a quiet room and you hear a clock ticking, the tick would be the absolute threshold. Students sat around trying to be quiet trying to see if they could hear the clock tick. They were unsuccessful because a few began to laugh.
