Conclusions

What happens when you take what you already knew and combine it with what you’re reading to figure out what you don’t know yet? BOOM! You just drew a conclusion! We know so much about the world around us, and we can use our knowledge to understand anything we read.

Let Freedom Ring

Benjamin Franklin once said, An investment in knowledge pays the best interest. With many young leaders here at Evangel Christian School we wanted our students not only to read about these great men of old and how they founded this Great Country, but we wanted to make it real to them. The only way to do this is explore as our forefathers once did. Eager to make these stories from the history books real, our junior class set out to explore Philadelphia. We visited historical sights such as the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Franklin Court, and Carpenter’s Hall. Our founding fathers were visionaries and they were willing to fight for their freedom and what they knew was right. We too should be willing to standup for what we believe in and work hard to accomplish our goals. Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Great Job

Every year our students anxiously await the arrival of Elementary School Field Day. This is a day where local private schools get together and compete in track and field events. Not only do our students get to show off their speed and strength, they unite together as one body to support and encourage one another. Our middle school did amazing this year with 7th grade girls, 8th grade girls, and 8th grade boys all taking 1st place, as well as 7th grade boys placing 2nd. I was very impressed not only with how well they preformed, but with the amount of maturity that they exemplified. – Mr. Wong

Lead by senior captains Jonathan Bonifas & Emerson Calvi as well as junior Geordan Gibson, the Eagles were a team to be dealt with this year. We are anxiously waiting the start of the next year.
