Memory
We discussed the Process of Memory and learned how Investigators help solve crimes. They would take the witnesses to the scene of the crime to help them recall events. We also began to discuss our favorite Bible Verses and tried recalling them from memory.

Pilgrim’s Progress
We began discussing the work of John Bunyan, The Pilgrim’s Progress. We learned about apologetics and how we as Christians need to stand up about our faith. Bunyan wrote an apology vindicating his reasoning for writing his book and even in the format in which he did; allegory. We appreciated his life’s background and learned that this book is the second most sold book after the Bible.

Greek Tragedies
We began with the study of Greek Tragedies. We learned how they are so similar to Shakesperean Tragedies. We also learned how Shakespeare got his ideas from Greek Tragedies. We compared characters and portions of both plays. We had fun dissecting characters and parts played in Iedipus the King.

Shakespeare
We began our journey into the World of Shakespeare. We read the Tragedy of Macbeth. Macbeth was a man who had a selfish ambition to seek out what was told he was going to become. His wife helped him with planning the assassination of King Duncan , which made him heir to the throne after Duncan’s sons ran away in fear. He became King and soon his life became enthralled in self that even the death of his wife did not move him. We learned that when something is said about what we are to become, allow God to bring it to pass in His own timing.

Absolute Threshold
Throughout Chapter 4, we covered Sensation & Perception. We discussed one very interesting part of sensation called Absolute Threshold. Absolute Threshold is the weakest stimulus. An example is if you are in a quiet room and you hear a clock ticking, the tick would be the absolute threshold. Students sat around trying to be quiet trying to see if they could hear the clock tick. They were unsuccessful because a few began to laugh.

We love to share
Students had fun at their sharing party. Each student brought in their favorite snack to share with others. We even had some of the staff come and share with us. Besides our sharing party, we had a healthy snack week too.

We have green thumbs
Students were very excited to plant and watch their very own bean seed grow. Students learned how plants grow. Each of us would come in ready to check on our plants and water them, especially on Monday morning. We also used cotton balls as soil and yes, the plant grew.
