African Music
Middle school learned about African culture. How African music and movement of dance has impacted their daily lives. They also got to show how music affected them and why they liked music.

The students in elementary enjoyed learning about music this year in its entirety . They learned how to cooperate with each other for when we had to move/dance to certain music. They have learned different aspect of music from the tempos in Italian to how to fine tune their social and motor skills.

All in all we had a great year. The highlight for the kids was the Art show. Everyone who attended from the outside was amazed at the work of art they were able to do. This led to the Annual art festival and our students did very well to having the privilege to display their work in First National Savings Bank. They were so happy to see what our students could do. It was a true pleasure having each and every one of them.

True Beauty
In Art Elective this year learned about how beauty is depicted. We created masks to demonstrate that beauty is really In the eye of the beholder. Also that it is not necessarily what we see on the outside but what is in side. We used the word of God to help us and we used the story of Beauty in the Beast to demonstrate this aspect. They also learned how to do decoupage with paper and glass candy dishes.

New Challenges
Middle school has tried many new things even above their age level. This of course was not told to them till after they started. They have learned in 6th grade to paint with watercolors and the different techniques of how to do this. 7th grade amazed themselves on how well they did when challenged to work with oil pastels. 8th grade did great work with their sculptures. They used paper to create anything from a can of soda to a remarkable detailed drum set.

Bible in Art
What an awesome year. We have learned so much in what seems now to be a little time. Students learned that they could use biblical titles in art. For instance they learned about Rene Magritte and his portrayal of the Son of Man. They created their own rendition with different things in front of their face from credit cards to pizza.

What an awesome year. We have learned so much in what seems now to be a little time. Students completed a lot work this year. They did so well in everything they learned that we were able to join art and music together. They made beautiful guitars with designs of their own imagination.

New Artists
What an awesome year. We have learned so much in what seems now to be a little time. 2nd and 3rd graders were introduced to two not so famous artists. Students learned to create beautiful art with colors that pop out of the paper. They had a great time.

Beautiful Butterflies
What an awesome year. We have learned so much in what seems now to be a little time. Pre K to Kindergarten has learned the power of the Lord’s creation by learning the stages of a butterfly.
