We learned some helpful tips to overcome temptation. We studied the life of Jesus and took a close look at how he was able to overcome 40 days of temptation by holding to the Word of God.

Caleb
We studied Caleb this month. Caleb was not as renowned as Joshua but he was a giant killer and a mighty man of God. Caleb fought to conquer his portion of the promise land.

Character
Our textbook is called Character quest and that’s exactly what God desires to develop in the 7th grade class. I can see God breaking through as the class grows in their walk.

Prayer
We had some amazing times of prayer as a class. I can see a really sensitive heart for the Lord in this class, they love to pray and seek God.

The Lord’s Prayer
We started our section on prayer this month. We are learning the Lord’s prayer and breaking it into sections to better understand it.

We learned about Abraham and his Faith in God. Faith is key to a Christian’s walk because our faith is founded on the belief that what is unseen is more real then what is seen.

We studied patience this month. Learning to patient with God, others and ourselves! Jesus said, by patience a man possess his soul.
