Can you guess what’s in the box?
Don’t Peak, Don’t Tell. Each student has had a chance to hide a mystery item and write four clues so their classmates can guess what is in the box. This has been a fun leaning experience.

Go ball go!
Students are starting to learn how to guide a ball with only their feet. They are also practicing kicking the ball to the direction they want it to go. These are all skills that will help them eventually learn to play soccer. They are also having fun trying to block the ball from going into the net.

Having a Ball in Gym Class
Students have been learning how to play soccer in gym class. They are learning how to get the ball to go in the direction they want without using their hands. They are learning how to guide the ball with only their feet. They not only get to kick the ball but they also take turns learning to be a goalie. Imperialism
This month our students are exploring the effects of Imperialism on China. Before we began this chapter, we debated in teams the following four statements:
(1) Countries must be economically strong to be free.
(2) Countries must be militarily strong to be free.
(3) Countries must be democratic to be free.
(4) Countries must be technologically advanced to be free.
Which do you most agree with?
