Twenty-five students from the elementary and middle school worked long and hard to participate in the Association of Christian Schools International’s annual Speech Meet competition. Students could choose to participate in a variety of areas including Bible memorization, poetry, dramatic reading, humorous monologue and so forth. Evangel was proud to have five “Superior” winners (the highest award possible), seven “Excellent” ribbons, twelve “Good” ribbons, and one “Honorable Mention” awarded. The competition also featured a special presentation called “Stellar Performances” in which outstanding speeches were performed for the entire audience. Six Evangel students were chosen to come up and share their works! We look forward to continuing this achievement next year!
