During the 2008-2009 school year, the PTF held 3 Scholastic book fairs. As a result students were able to purchase award winning books at a very reasonable price, especially with the “Buy One, Get One Free” sale.
Our library obtained over $1200 in books and resources, and our elementary classes got free books.
The last book fair took place on June 4th and our eighth graders had a very special moment. As they looked around flipping pages and selecting books, they realized this fair was the last one before they go into high school. A group gathered together and started praying. It was a very emotional moment as we watched the students talk to their Abba Father.
We are so blessed to be in a school were even in the midst of a simple book fair, the name of our Lord can be glorified.
