The Gingerbread Man

KV and KT have been listening to The Gingerbread Baby which is a retelling of the Gingerbread Man by Jan Brett. The Gingerbread Baby is a baby because the boy opened the oven too early and the Man was not ready yet, so a playful Gingerbread Baby came out. They also listened to Gingerbread Friends and to The Gingerbread Man. We have compared and contrasted the three stories. Our Kindergarteners have told me that they enjoyed The Gingerbread Man most because they wanted the Gingerbread Man to be eaten by the fox.
