Wings For The King

Third Grade enjoyed the story, Wings for the King by Anne Sodra. This is a story about a king who wishes to fly to faraway places because he is bored. In his attempt to fly to faraway places he summons his subjects to build him wings and he will reward them with gold. This story is written in a play format and the children really enjoyed how the king finally gets to travel to faraway places. This story is one of my personal favorites. If you get a chance, please read it and I know you will enjoy it as much as the 3rd graders enjoyed it during their library time.
