Butterflies
Along with our insect unit, we have been learning about the life cycle of butterflies. In addition to studying about them we have been observing actual butterfly larvae in our classroom! We watched as tiny baby caterpillars ate (and ate and ate) and grew larger, turned into golden chrysalis’, and eventually emerged as beautiful butterflies. Finally, we released these amazing creatures that God created back into their natural environment.
