The Renaissance Period
10th grade studied the Renaissance, focusing on the individuals who made lasting contributions during that time. Students made PowerPoint presentations on such figures as Martin Luther, Michelangelo, and Isaac Newton. They also wrote essays explaining the significance of their figure. The ideas and art of this time period affected the rest of history and how humans think and interact. The rest of the year we will be exploring the ramifications of these great men and women.
