The Tea Bag
April was a short month because we were off for our Easter break. But before that we had our spiritual emphasis week, where we were able to focus and discuss why we celebrate Easter. We had some interesting discussions and all of the students made some arts and crafts. We also had a beautiful chapel with all of elementary where all the students worshipped God and learned about him through a great illustration of a tea bag.

Solar System
During the month of March we had our yearly Academic Fair, where all the students focus on a subject matter, and create a project. Our class did the Solar System. But before the Academic Fair we took a trip to the American Museum of Natural History. We were able to see and learn about our solar system. They all had a lot of fun! At the academic fair KT performed for all the parents a small skit about the planets. They all created a costume of a planet and then got dressed up and performed an awesome skit that we all enjoyed. All the parents were very proud and happy.

100th Day
We got to celebrate our 100th day of school. We read a book about the 100th day and watched a video. Finally, the students had the opportunity of creating their own art work using 100 macaronis. They all did a great job!

KT
During the month of February we celebrate Valentine’s Day. The students made hearts where they shared God’s love with others through the verse: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life – John 3:16.

Soccer
The students have been learning how to play soccer. They have been doing drills in how to guide the ball with only their feet. They also had drills on how to kick the ball and be goalies. After all our practice, we made teams and had fun playing games.

Soccer
Students had fun learning how to play soccer. They learned how to guide the ball with their feet without touching the ball with their hands at all. We also work in groups kicking the ball to each other and learning how to stop the ball with our feet. Then the fun part came when the students tried to kick the ball to make a goal. Each student had a turn at being the goalie. The goalie is the only person who can use their hands by rolling the ball to the player and stopping the ball from getting into the net.

Parachute
The students have a lot of fun when we play with the parachute. We play games using the parachute and a beach ball and colorful frogs. They also like it when we make it go up and they run underneath it before it comes down.

Cat and Mouse
Kindergarden-2nd grade had fun playing cat and mouse. The game is played where one student is a cat that chases all the other students who are mice. When the cat pulls the tail off of a mouse, they become a cat and start grabbing tails and so on.
