Great Job
Every year our students anxiously await the arrival of Elementary School Field Day. This is a day where local private schools get together and compete in track and field events. Not only do our students get to show off their speed and strength, they unite together as one body to support and encourage one another. Our middle school did amazing this year with 7th grade girls, 8th grade girls, and 8th grade boys all taking 1st place, as well as 7th grade boys placing 2nd. I was very impressed not only with how well they preformed, but with the amount of maturity that they exemplified. – Mr. Wong
Boys Volleyball
Only the second year into our Boys Varsity Volleyball Program & our boys continue to impress. Coached by alumni Daniel Herrera, the Eagles took 3rd place with a record of 7-3. Lead by senior captains Jonathan Bonifas & Emerson Calvi as well as junior Geordan Gibson, the Eagles were a team to be dealt with this year. We are anxiously waiting the start of the next year.

Acts 3
Once again our PreK 3 students presented in Chapel. They all acted out the story of Acts 3. No one was stage shy as they all did their parts. Everyone was blessed.

Hand Painting
Remember when you used to finger paint? How much fun it was? Well, our students had even more fun as they painted with their entire hand. They each made beautiful handprint paintings.

Fish
After the children colored their fish, they had fun making a home for them. They made fish tanks out of paper, sand and shells. The fish looked beautiful in their new homes.

NEHS
On Thursday, June 10th, we were so excited to invite 29 new members into National Elementary Honor Society. This is a beautiful ceremony where students carry candles. The NEHS Officers spoke and there are many presentations give. Officers received blue cords and 5th Graders received yellow cords to wear at graduation. Please see below for the history of NEHS and click on the blue inserts below to see our bulletin. Please see “Galleries” for some great pics. When the National Honor Society was founded in 1921, the hope was to create an organization that would recognize and encourage high school students’ academic achievement while developing other characteristics essential to citizens in a democracy. The National Junior Honor Society was founded shortly thereafter-in 1929 to recognize middle school students in the same areas. Now, over 80 years later, these Societies have become prestigious organizations with outstanding faculty members and students from the school community. Their reputation for excellence is the result of years of commitment on the part of everyone involved. In 2008 the National Elementary Honor Society was established. NEHS now is the first stage for students in a process that can bring recognition in the elementary, middle level and high school years to those students who commit to achievement. Membership is thus both an honor and a commitment.
NEHS recognizes outstanding Elementary school students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
For the selection of Members to the NEHS Chapter:
Members must maintain a cumulative overall 85% average or higher for two consecutive semesters with 80% as the lowest grade in all subjects.
